She currently works in orthopedics, including joint replacement, hand surgery, orthopedic trauma, pediatric fractures, and general orthopedics. She graduated magna cum laude with her PA degree in 1999 and earned her master's in 2011.

Prior to this, she provided comprehensive care by managing a dementia unit for our nation's veterans. Previous memberships include the AAPA, PAOS, and VAPAA. She served on the VAPAA board from 2001-2007 and was the editor of their newsletter, "The Voice," from 2001-2005.

She is also a guest lecturer and has spoken nationally on orthopedic topics. She is passionate about actively engaging patients in their healthcare through a dynamic patient-provider relationship.
