Are you ready to earn your online nursing degree?

Whether you’re looking to get your pre-licensure degree or taking the next step in your career, the education you need could be more affordable than you think. Find the right nursing program for you.

An LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) is also known as an LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) in certain states. LPNs or LVNs work with people with illnesses or injuries, just like physicians and RNs (Registered Nurses), but they are always directed by RNs or physicians. Each state, however, has different rules in terms of the possible responsibilities of an LPN. However, they will always do things like administering injections, recording vital signs, helping patients with things like dressing, bathing and walking, and dressing wounds. LPNs are there to ensure the overall health care service is able to work properly, by taking away a substantial portion of the workload of RNs and physicians.

If you want to become an LPN, it is very important that you find a school that is able to meet your specific needs and requirements. The recommendation is to always contact at least three different schools; even more if you can.

Below are what we feel are the best LPN programs in the county to help you get started in your search.
