Are you ready to earn your online nursing degree?

Male nurses are on the rise in the U.S. but still comprise just 13% of all registered nurses (RNs). Scholarships for male nurses not only provide needed financial support but encourage diversity within the profession.

Before the Civil War, the nursing profession was predominantly male. In fact, women were not allowed to work as nurses. Today, the overwhelming majority of the nursing workforce is women, with male nurses facing stigma due to damaging gender stereotypes. At the same time, stable income, job security, rewarding work,, and an intellectually stimulating career are now attracting more men to the nursing profession.

Are you one of them? If so, we’ve compiled this list of best nursing scholarships for men to help you get started.
